The Mens Shed Thirroul

The Thirroul Mens Shed was established in 2010 with a hand full of members and since then the membership has grown to approximately 45. The highlight of this six year period came last year when Thirroul Mens Shed was given more permanent accommodation in a new shed on railway land here in Thirroul. The shed has since been fitted out with a work shop for wood work and a large kitchen which is also used for computer and camera projects. The workshop has had a comprehensive dust extraction system installed along with many new wood working machines. A metal workshop is planned for later this year. Thirroul Mens Shed focuses on member’s health and wellbeing as well as carrying out projects for various organisations within the local community. Thirroul Mens Shed is shed is for any bloke irrespective of education or skill level.
